Handan launches heavy pollution steel restriction
From 23:00 on 24 February to 27 February China’s Handan city is enforcing additional steel and coke production restrictions due to severe air pollution. Handan is also extending its 50% BF capacity winter steel production restriction after mid-March to the end of March due to a possible fail in annual air quality review, according to a local government announcement.
