Handan adds annealing line
Northern China’s Handan Iron and Steel (Hangang), part of Hebei Iron and Steel (Hegang), commissioned a new 1,650mm continuous annealing line on 27 November. The line is expected to serve the 2.5 million tonnes/year hot strip mill the company is currently upgrading, Kallanish notes.
