Hancock Prospecting’s net profit falls on lower revenue
Australian miner Hancock Prospecting has reported lower net profit for the year ended 30 June, 2023 (FY23), in line with lower revenue, Kallanish notes.
The group says in a statement that it reported a net profit of AUD 5.04 billion ($3.19 billion) in FY23, down 13.31% from AUD 5.81 billion a year ago.
The group’s revenue for FY23 also fell 9.7% to AUD 13.22 billion from AUD 14.64 billion a year ago.
