Hadeed reduces rebar prices, sparks industry confusion
Saudi Arabian benchmark mill Hadeed has reduced its domestic prices for 12-32mm diameter rebar by SAR 40/tonne ($10.6) to SAR 2,370/t delivered. It has however kept rebar in coil prices unchanged at SAR 2,535/t ($676).
The company has informed its distributors that it would compensate for rebar transactions made prior to the price reduction announcement on 11 August.
