Italian first-half flats output rises
Italian flat products output increased year-on-year in June, according to data released by local steelmakers' association Federacciai, monitored by Kallanish. Flats output growth was negative throughout almost all of 2018.
In June, flats output increased y-o-y by 7.7% to 1 million tonnes. Over the first six months of the year output ticked up by 2.8% compared to the same period in 2018, reaching 5.9mt.
