GWR shutters mine on price collapse

Western Australia’s GRW Group has halted operations at its C4 mine for 30 days while it monitors price movements, the company says. It says however that it is keeping the mine in readiness to restart, Kallanish notes. The company has 172,500 tonnes of iron ore ready to ship either already crushed and stockpiled or in its run-of-mine stores.
