Hebei finally approves Guotang Steel’s relocation project
The relocation project of China's Tangshan Guotang Iron & Steel (Guotang Steel) was finally approved on 5 June, although its previous application had been rejected on 30 April, Kallanish notes from the Hebei provincial government.
After commissioning in the Leting economic development zone in Hebei province, Guotang Steel will have capacity to produce 3 million tonnes/year of crude steel.
