Gunung Raja Paksi, Fortescue team up on zero-emission steel
Private Indonesian steelmaker Gunung Raja Paksi (GRP), a member of Gunung Steel, has teamed up with Australian green energy company Fortescue Future Industries (FFI) for zero-emission steel, Kallanish notes.
According to a statement, the firm is working towards a greener future, with a plan to reduce carbon emissions from the steel industry by replacing natural gas with green hydrogen produced on site using Australian technology.
