Guizhou Hexing plans EAF
Guizhou Hexing Metal plans to build an electric arc furnace near Jiangshui Bridge in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou province.
It is expected to reach 500,000 tonnes/year of steel capacity, Kallanish notes. The plant will include a 70-tonne alloy steel EAF, a 70t ladle furnace, a 70t VD furnace, a five-strand billet continuous casting machine and a fully continuous high-speed bar and wire composite production line.
