Guibao Special commissions 120-tonne electric arc furnace
Guangxi Guigang Steel Group's Guibao Special Steel commissioned one 120-tonne electric arc furnace (EAF)on 12 December. The commissioning also means Guigang Group has now attained 3 million tonnes/year of steel capacity, Kallanish notes.
Guibao Special's 120-t EAF can produce 1.5 million tonnes/year of crude steel and is supported by a 120-t ladle furnace. The plant feeds a 1.2m t/y rebar mill.
