Guangxi Sunlight begins capacity upgrade project construction
Southern China’s Guangxi Sunlight Metallurgical has started its project to upgrade equipment and replace some capacity (see Kallanish 16 January) on 17 January, according to the Fangchenggang Daily. Fangchenggang city could become a major coastal Chinese steel production centre with a total capacity over 18 million tonnes/year by 2020.
