Guangxi Steel commissions HRC line
Guangxi Steel Group in southern China's Guangxi Province has commissioned a hot-rolling line at its steel base in Fangchenggang city, Kallanish notes.
The line is able to produce hot rolled coil in 1.2-25.4mm thicknesses. The design capacity for this line is 4.5 million tonnes/year, with about 4m t/y HRC planned as a steady run-rate.
Guangxi Steel plans to sell 1.1mt of HRC directly per year, and 2.1mt of HRC will be used for cold rolled coil production.…
