Guangxi EAF steelmakers shut down production
Electric arc furnace steel mills in southern China's Guangxi province have successively announced shutdowns in response to the Covid control requirements of the local government. Meanwhile, widening losses also lead to lower incentive for steel mills to sustain production, Kallanish notes.
