Shaogang converts plate line to wire rod production
Baowu Group's Shaoguan Iron & Steel (Shaogang) plans to transform a 1 million tonnes/year thick-plate production line into a 600,000 t/y industrial wire rod production line, Kallanish notes. The construction of this project in China's Guangdong province is being undertaken by China MCC20 Group.
