Guangdong government pushes for stainless CR mill construction
The government of Gaozhou city, Guangdong Province, plans to start construction of a new stainless cold rolling mill, Kallanish notes.
The project, located in Jinshan Economic Development Park and being constructed by Dongheng Metals Company, will see an investment of CNY 1.1 billion ($159.86 million). The main equipment built will be three twenty-strand rolling mills, with a cold rolled stainless steel plate design capacity of 300,000 tonnes/year.
