Grupo Simec’s second-quarter shipments fall, profit rises on-year
Mexican long steel producer Grupo Simec saw second-quarter net sales decrease on-year and on-quarter, Kallanish learns from the company’s latest report.
The steelmaker’s sales volumes totalled 544,000 tonnes in Q2, down -9% on-year and -13% compared to Q1 2020. In the first half of 2020 sales amounted to 1.16 million tonnes, down -2% on-year.
