Grupo Simec’s second-quarter shipments rise

Mexican long steel producer Grupo Simec saw second-quarter net sales increase both quarter-on-quarter and on-year, Kallanish learns from the company’s latest report. The steelmaker’s sales totalled 687,000 tonnes in Q2, up 1% over Q1 and 27% more compared to the same period in 2020.
