Grupo Simec to upgrade Brazilian Pindamonhangaba plant
Mexican long steel producer Grupo Simec plans to upgrade its Pindamonhangaba plant in Brazil, Kallanish notes. The $300 million investment will almost double production at the site in Sao Paulo state to 1 million tonnes/year of rebar and wire rod.
