Grupo Simec slows third-quarter shipments
Mexican long steel producer Grupo Simec saw third-quarter net sales decrease quarter-on-quarter, Kallanish learns from the company’s latest report.
The steelmaker’s shipments totalled 585,000 tonnes in Q3, 14.8% less over Q2 and down 13.7% compared to the same period in 2020. In the first nine months of 2021, however, sales amounted to 1.95 million tonnes, 6.28% higher on-year.
