Great Lakes ore, steel shipments rise considerably
Iron ore and steel shipments on the Great Lakes Seaway are up considerably from last year. Consistent growth in overall shipments and total vessel transits show the seaway has not been facing as many supply chain disruptions or congestion compared to coastal ports, says the Great Lakes Seaway Partnership.
