GR Engineering wins Cosmos nickel mine contract
GR Engineering has signed an engineering, procurement and construction contract with a Western Areas subsidiary on the upgrade of the existing nickel concentrator at the Cosmos Nickel Operations, Kallanish notes.
The contract will begin immediately at the site 30km north of Leinster in the state's northern goldfields. Western Areas will pay $48 million to GR for the upgrade of the 900,000 tonnes/year operation.
