GPIL receives government consent for pellet plant expansion
India’s Godawari Power and Ispat (GPIL) has received the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board’s consent to enhance with immediate effect the capacity of its iron ore pellet plant at Siltara in Raipur.
GPIL aims to enhance its pelletising capacity from the existing 2.4 million tonnes/year to 2.7m t/y, Kallanish notes.
