Government halts construction of two Guangdong steel projects
China’s Guangdong provincial government has ordered the construction of Donghai Steel’s electric arc furnace project and the second phase of Guangdong Jinshenglan’s expansion project to be suspended. These projects were promoted by local governments but without the completed legal procedures, Kallanish notes.
