globalCOAL price up again but market disagrees
A hard coking coal trade on globalCOAL late Monday took place at a higher price again from trades the previous week. Other market prices and general sentiment suggest prices are still headed downwards however, Kallanish notes.
A 70,000 tonne cargo of branded hard coking coal traded at $79/tonne fob Australia for shipment in December. The trade was up from deals at $78.50/t on 26 November, $78/t on 24 November and $77.50/t on 23 November.
