Global Ferronickel to supply nickel ore to Baosteel
Philippine miner Global Ferronickel Holdings (GFNI) and China Baowu Group's Baosteel Resources International have signed a supply agreement for 1 million wet metric tonnes of nickel ore, Kallanish notes.
The nickel miner said in a statement last week that the nickel ore will come from GFNI's Cagdianao Nickel Expansion Project in Surigao del Norte, at market prices.
