Asia, Middle East demand lifts Sibanthracite coal sales
Russian coal producer Sibanthracite Group increased production in the first quarter due to higher demand on the international market and the deployment of additional equipment, the company says.
Volumes amounted to 4.8 million tonnes, up by 17% on-year, Kallanish notes. This includes 2.9mt of anthracite and 1.9mt of metallurgical coal.
