Turkish wire rod export demand slows
Turkish wire rod producers are facing slowing demand in the global market. Bearish sentiment arising from China and increasing coronavirus infection rates have caused buyers to back off from the market.
Wire rod demand in the Turkish domestic market, however, performed well until Thursday last week when the Turkish Central Bank announced its decision to raise loan rates.
