Global demand for Turkish merchant bars revives
Turkish merchant bar producers have seen a recovery in global demand this week, though export quotes remained mostly unchanged despite the rise in billet prices.
On Friday, Turkish producers’ quotes stood mostly at $665-680/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $675-690/t for IPN-UPN sections, $685-700/t for flat bars, and $675-690/t for IPE sections. However, lower prices were also available from some producers.
