Global demand resumes for Turkish merchant bar
Turkish merchant bar producers have received a higher number of inquiries from global buyers.
With the recovery in scrap prices, global merchant bar buyers who were previously halting their purchases on lower price expectations have returned to the market. As a result, Turkish merchant bar producers had a busy week last week in terms of offers and agreements.
Despite stronger demand, most producers kept their offer prices unchanged, but limited discounts.
