Glencore increases ferrochrome output, observes strong stainless output
Glencore posted a 21% on-year increase in third-quarter ferrochrome production to 327,000 tonnes, while nine-month-through-September output inched up 3% on-year to 1.15 million tonnes.
The miner still anticipates producing 1.6mt of ferrochrome in full-year 2018, unchanged from its previous guidance (see Kallanish passim).
