Gladstone coal exports increase in June
According to data from Australia's Gladstone Port Corporation, the port exported 6.19 million tonnes of coal in June. This was a decrease of -3.71% from the same period last year, but an increase of 11.22% from May.
In June, coal exports to China increased by 26.38% over the same period last year, reaching 1.78mt in total. This is also an increase of 2.04% from the previous month's export volume, Kallanish notes.
