Germany investigates carmakers in alleged cartel case
Germany’s antitrust authority is investigating a number of carmakers and automotive suppliers for suspected pricing agreements for steel purchases.
A spokesman for the authority confirmed to Kallanish that searches were carried out on 23 June at the steel purchasing departments of six companies in raids that involved 50 employees of the federal office as well as local police.
