German steelworkers/employers agree wage hike of 4%

IG Metall union and steel employers have come to an agreement on wages for 70,000 employees at mills in the Northern and Western districts of Germany. The deal was struck following their third round of talks. Steelworkers will receive an increase in wages of 4% in two stages.
