German scrap market foresees higher prices in September
Following price increases in August, most players in the German scrap market are hopping that September prices will continue to rise due to higher demand and the end of the summer holidays.
Prices in southern Germany remain at July levels, but in the north and west they increased in August by €10/tonne ($11/t) on-month, a Bavarian buyer tells Kallanish.
