German rebar mill cuts output for maintenance

Badische Stahlwerke (BSW) will this winter go for the overhaul of its meltshop that it meant to carry out a year earlier, but then postponed. The southwestern German rebar mill will be renewing the foundation of one of its two electric arc furnaces. This was initially scheduled for the 2020/21 winter break but cancelled due to the risks associated with the coronavirus pandemic.
