German energy-intensive industries address pressing power supply issues
Germany’s energy-intensive industries that make up the interest group EID have submitted a position paper to the government that addresses their issues of utmost concern on energy supply matters. The interest group comprises of steel federation WV Stahl, and the industries of construction materials, chemicals, nonferrous metals, paper, and glass. Together, they account for 25% of Germany’s electricity consumption.
