Construction continues in Germany, less clear in Switzerland/Austria
Construction activity in Germany has continued to a relatively significant extent despite public measures having been taken by the authorities against the coronavirus, and compared with that in neighbouring countries.
The majority of German construction sites are still largely in normal operation, and shutdowns have occurred only in individual cases, says industry federation Hauptverband Bauindustrie.
