Gerdau upgrades Riograndense, Charqueadas plants
Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau says it will invest almost BRL 250 million ($49.36m) in the upgrade of its two operations in Rio Grande do Sul this year. The investment is part of the steelmaker's total BRL 5 billion capital expenditure in 2023.
