Gerdau to reduce CO2 emissions by 2031

Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau says it will reduce its CO2 emissions by almost 10.7% until 2031. The target was announced after the firm’s board approved its climate change strategy, and aims to position Gerdau among the world’s most efficient steel producers in terms of greenhouse gas emissions, Kallanish notes.
