Gerdau sees mining expansion project suspended
The Brazilian 2nd Court of Public Finance and Municipalities of Belo Horizonte has suspended the approval given to Gerdau to expand its mining activities in Serra da Moeda, Kallanish learns from the authority. The licence was granted by the State Council for Environmental Policy (Copam) at its ordinary meeting held on 29 May.
