Plummeting exports hamper Gerdau third-quarter results
Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau’s third-quarter crude steel production dropped versus Q2. Output was also weaker on-year, Kallanish notes. Steel shipments fell, following a reduction in exports due to poor conditions in the international market.
