Gerdau NA decreases truck fuel surcharge for April
Gerdau Long Steel North America (GLN) is lowering its truck fuel surcharge by $0.03/mile.
The decrease is effective with shipments 1 April, Kallanish learns from a letter to customers.
The latest truck fuel surcharge adjustment on shipments goes from $0.61/mile to $0.58/mile for all GLN mills.
According to Gerdau's director of logistics, the company is continuing to monitor the price of fuel and will make monthly adjustments as deemed necessary.
