Gerdau gradually resumes Pindamonhangaba production

Brazil’s Gerdau is gradually resuming production at its Pindamonhangaba special steel plant in Sao Paulo as from this week, Kallanish learns from trade union Sindmetp. “The steelworks that came to a complete standstill this month should return to producing 38,000 tonnes of steel, while the rolling mill no.3 should resume 60% of its capacity utilisation,” according to Sindmetp.
