Gerdau announces new iron ore reserves certification
Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau says it has completed the new certification of its mineral reserves at the Miguel Burnier iron ore open-pit mine in Minas Gerais, Kallanish notes.
According to the independent certifier SRK Consulting’s report, the company’s reserves are at 470 million tonnes, of which 338mt is probable and 138mt proven.
