General Motors closes production in Colombia, Ecuador
US carmaker General Motors says it is closing manufacturing operations in Colombia and Ecuador. The sites will be converted into sales centres.
“The transformation of assets will support the launch of our next-generation vehicles, including a world-class portfolio, supported by exceptional customer experience and after-sales services,” GM explains in a note seen by Kallanish.
