GCC mills try to push up billet quotes
Gulf Cooperation Council billet producers are trying to elevate prices amid Saudi billet producers holding back their offers. This week, some billet producers in United Arab Emirates and Oman increased billet quotes by $7-15/tonne on-month despite scrap prices falling in UAE, notes Kallanish.
