GCC merchant billet producers await better October demand
The Gulf Cooperation Council billet market has been stable for almost two weeks amid a lack of export enquiries for rebar, particularly from the Far East. Billet producers are withholding stocks, projecting better rebar demand in October so they can sell their billet at higher prices.
