GCC integrated mills bag local orders
The Gulf Cooperation Council billet market is stable on the back of rebar prices remaining unchanged since June. Integrated mills have been building up billet stocks as rebar demand in export markets is subdued, compelling them to offer more competitive prices against merchant billet producers, Kallanish understands.
