Large GCC HRC deals drive up prices

In the Gulf Cooperation Council hot rolled coil market, recently concluded deals have set a benchmark and geared up price increases, at least for this week, Kallanish notes. In United Arab Emirates, a 2mm+ thickness re-rolling (SAE 1006) grade deal was concluded last Friday for 15,000 tonnes at $915/tonne cfr for end-March shipment.
