GCC determines injury but no preliminary safeguard duties
The Gulf Cooperation Council’s trade defence body has made a preliminary determination that the increase in imports under the current safeguard investigation has caused serious injury to the bloc’s steel industry. However, no preliminary duties have been specified.
The GCC-Bureau of Technical Secretariat for Anti Injurious Practices in International Trade (GCC-TSAIP) launched the investigation last October (see Kallanish passim).
